'쿠엔틴 타란티노'감독의 이름을 할리우드에 본격적으로 알린 영화입니다.

예전에는 고전명작이라하면 '시민 케인'을 떠올리는데 요즘 대학생들의 고전영화라면 '펄프픽션'을 떠올린다고 하더군요

 

특유의 B급감성과 더불어 다양한 OST 그리고 다양한 장르를 혼합한 영화입니다. 개인적으로는 존 트라볼타 특유의 능글맞은 억양과 표정이 인상적인 영화였습니다.

 

개인적으로 마약과 관련된 영화를 보면서 물질적으로 혹은 정신적으로 풍요롭다면 그 이상의 쾌락을 찾는 것이 인간의 본성이 아닐까? 라는 생각을 매번 합니다. 

(미아가 마약을 흡입하는 장면을 보면서...)

영화 초반에 브루스 윌리스가 보스에게 권투경기를 일부러 져 달라고 청탁받는 과정에서 은은하게 깔린 배경음악입니다.
